Alan,
I’ve come to expect great podcasts with interesting, useful, and often insightful learnings from “The Marketer’s Podcast”, and this particular ‘epi-pod’ didn’t disappoint me in the slightest – though being the impatient soul that I am, I have to admit that I did fast forward past the opening bird tour.
As always, Eve was an absolute delight. Her frank, straight to the point yet totally proactive, style is wonderful, and a great role model to try and emulate. Her comments, like “The ‘Big Deal’ is the light bulb going on when you’ve internalized it.” and “Drink more not sodas.” had me constantly hitting the pause button on my iPod to quickly take notes.
I also had to chuckle a little when she turned the tables by interviewing you about your New Years resolutions.
This one is definitely a ‘keeper’.
[...] It seems that by having both small and large business resources on one website that it put off both markets. Alan Stewart of the Marketers Podcast did a great New Years Resolutions interview about using your brain to set yourself up for making your intentions come true in the real world. Alan,
The introduction had me smiling the whole time; I just didn’t know what was going to happen next or where it was leading. I found it touching as most of our pets have been adopted from rescue centers and I have admiration for people that rescue and care for animals, especially wild ones. Thank you for sharing that with your listeners.
Then you followed up with a great conversation with Eve, who is such a joy to listen to. She has so much positive energy and enthusiasm; I can see why you didn’t edit down the interview.
Thanks again,
Derek.
