You can't type out a used car salesman pitch on a website and expect a result: it's a totally different arena where a certain degree of human interaction is lacking and needs compensating. Telephone or live chat would not really work for us due to the time difference between our largest market in the US and ourselves in the UK. So I thought to myself; if I can’t provide a live contact, what is the next best thing? The solution was instead of hiding our email address on the support page, which often implies there is something is wrong, I put an icon on every page with text using a direct email-to link.
